MERCY RULE
Junior match results will have a “mercy rule” which is enforced with a cap of 10 goals. No match will stop once the cap is reached by one team. Match officials will record all scorers over 10 goals but the LCFA will amend the end result with goals difference capped at 10.
Example: If the score line is 15 nil, it will be amended and officially recorded as an 10-0 result. If the score line is 16-2, it will be amended and officially recorded as a 10-2 result.
